Carbon Literacy Training
Carbon Literacy® is accredited climate change learning that leads to impactful action towards reducing carbon emissions. More than just small personal changes, Carbon Literacy highlights the need for substantial change and supports you, as an individual, to have a cascade effect on a much wider audience.
You will receive a confirmation email before the training session with information about the pre-work you will need to complete before the first session (watching and reflecting on a short film). You will also receive a calendar invite so you have the training sessions in your diary.
Upon completion of the course, you will become accredited as ‘Carbon Literate’ and receive a certificate which is internationally recognised.
To become certified, you will be guided to make two pledges to reduce your emissions individually and within a group. You will also be asked to outline what you have learnt in the training so the Carbon Literacy Project can gauge your level of carbon literacy.
You will need to attend both sessions to complete the training.
